Bbq Fried Chicken Hello there! Once again, we were assigned to cook a new dish, and this time, it revolved around the popular common food known as fried chicken. As for my recipe, I decided to go with barbeque fried chicken. https://youtu.be/w_YgPXCOG60 INGREDIENTS: 1/2 kg chicken wings 1 tsp of crushed garlic and ginger 1 tsp of salt 2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp of black pepper 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp mixed herbs 1/4 cup honey 1 cup barbeque sauce 1 tsp chili sauce canola oil STEPS: marinating chicken: 1. In a bowl, add your salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic and salt into the chicken 2. Mix and combine well chicken breading: 3.   What is food safety?       Food safety refers to the  proper handling, preparing, and storing of food . This is done in order to reduce the risk of us consumers from catching any illnesses and diseases caused by the food.  Practicing proper food safety aims to prevent our food from harboring any bacteria or food poisoning that may upset our stomach. This action is done by... CLEANING 1. Keep your hands clean:      - You must wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 30 seconds in order to rinse out any bacteria that may reside in them . 2. Keep your workspace clean:     - Clean every surface in the kitchen, this includes utensils and appliances as well. 3.   Rinse your produce:     - Rinse any vegetable or fruit before proceeding in chopping, eating or cooking.   Kitchen Safety Be aware and take care! Cooking is fun, but it can also be hazardous. Practicing kitchen safety is a good habit to have, and you must not take it lightly.  A chef must be aware of what goes about their kitchen!  So here are a few safety rules that can help in preventing any future kitchen accidents : 1. Don't be a twit, wear an oven mitt You need heat in order to cook, and our skin is sensitive to skin. So remember to wear oven mitts when handling something that is hot. 2. To avoid a scene, keep your workplace clean Make sure you keep any dirty or harmful materials from contaminating your food. Separate foods to avoid cross-contamination. 3. Be aware of your kitchen wares Knifes are sharp and dangerous, make sure that they are stored away safely in a place where no one can get hurt. The same goes for any other harmful materials. 4. Poached Eggs are Mean

  Poached Egg A burst of flavor hidden inside, It is sure to satisfy your insatiable cravings! Most people are afraid of making this type of egg because of the technique needed to cook it. So here is a quick video on how to make it! https://youtu.be/OhItETo3UjI INGREDIENTS: - Water - Salt - Vinegar - Egg lol THE PROCESS: STEP 1: Boil water in a pot STEP 2: Crack an egg through a strainer  ( this will lessen the whispy whites when you poach the egg ) STEP 3: Once some bubbles start to rise in the pot, add vinegar and/or salt STEP 4: Stir the pot to create a vortex STEP 5: Drop the egg and let it swirl for about 15-20 seconds And there you have it! You have successfully made a poached egg! Don't worry if you don't get it right the first few times. The poached egg is a hard trick to master.
